Optional Game if DMG goes down

Hello! I've recently noticed about everyone's concern about DMG mayeb going down, but fear not, I have a solution if it so do: Lord of the Rings Online!
Sure, it may seem like a little low budget game n' all, but with friends it is really, really fun.
It gives:
-Massive World. It have almost every area seen in Lord of the Rings, and massive are they! It would take you some time to explore it all, but god it is beautiful.

-Multiplayer Support. Now I am not sure how it goes with all the Guild Creating and all, but we can still all add eachother and maybe all become a Group to chat. Still, I find the multiplayer good supported and should be praised for the effort into it.

-Jump-in Support. This is where it's interesting. The dungeons in LOTRO supports alot of players for being free-to-play, all the way from 1 to 12!

-The leveling. With over 3000 quest and all the way to level 65, you won't be bored. With the rewards and progression, you gain epic items that is unique to you! You can get items from the movie, never seen before items, heck, maybe even a combination! Let's not forget about the hundreds of deeds your character can complete for more epic rewards, this game isn't cleared easy!

-Socialisation. Guilds, called "Kinship" in LOTRO, are the band you form to defeat mighty foes. I cannot explain myself, so I'll just tell this from the official website: "In the flowering of fellowship, the players in your Kinship can compete in contests and games, practice their Crafts, and even just relax before the next challenge". With that there are two things more: Housing and Crafting. With housing, you are allowed to own your very oen house and to make changes to it however you want! You cna put up trophies, craft/get furniture and everything else, a world of Customization awaits you. Second, Crafting. All the way from Furniture to your house to the epic weapons of shadow-killing, you can craft A-lot. There are several craftings, one that let you make Armor or Weapons and upgrades to them, and some that helps you with other things. There are roleplay servers, which I greatly recommend you going into, where you can have fun with friends. I played with two others there, and we had a hellofatime there, no kidding.

Now, let's check through the classes:

Champion: Avaliable to most of the races in Middle-Earth, this is like a Warrior. Your goal in this is to deal swift and strong damage, which your skills help you in.

Burglar: Avaliable to the Hobbits and Humans, this is inspired from Bilbo Baggins. This is like a Rogue class, you mostly stay away from the enemy attacks and deal large amount of damage by doing that.

Captain: Avaliable to the Humans, this is a bit of Warrior, a bit of Cleric. This class is to Damage hte neemy but still support the group with cries to raise morale or other traits.

Guardian: Avaliable to exactly every race in Middle-Earth, this class is to Defend the group. He's to take the attention of the enemies to gain all the damage, but his Defense makes him more resistant to it.

Hunter: Avaliable to exactly every race in Middle-Earth, this class is to deal damage from afar with it's bow. It's purpose is to assign different poisons or benefits to is bow before firing, dealing different amount of damage and injuries to the enemy.

Lore-Master: Avaliable to the Humans and Elves, this class is to support it's Fellowship. It bless them with different powers, giving them different amounts of strength.

Minstrel: Avaliable to exactly every race in Middle-Earth, this class can do two things. Either it can support the group with buffs to make them stronger in a specific way, or it can switch to aggresive and deal damage. This class can also teach other classes different instruments (In which you can make a band as I can explain if enough people want to).

Rune-Keeper: Avaliable to the Dwarves and Elves, this class is to Heal and Deal damage to the foes. It's spells contains healing or Damage, whatever you prefer to use.

Warden: Avaliable to almost every race in Middle-Earth, this class is to defend the group from incomming damage. Just like the Guardian, it's purpose is to defend the group from damage while boosting it's own Defense.

Beware, two of these classes requires you to spend money on the game. It isn't much, but if you like the game enough I recommend you try the premium version of it, opening alot of more things to you.

I would like a free-to play game, with a guild system and friendship system too, if it includes a pm system Im happy as well.

And if possible, a game with barely no exp, all skillz, like on yugioh, you don't earn exp and lvl, you just gotta master the thing, that's my personal add coz I kind mof do not have the time to do that lvling grinding stuff anymore and I kind of feel guilty if Im the leader and everyone haz more lvlz than me xD

Besides, I would add no "fight for the rank" kind of guild. I will love to have tournys for the top 10 and stuff, but no leadership by hwo is the strongest around here, that's just too gay, besides you can be the strongest, but strength itself does not make you a leader.


You could make a hell of an ace player on guild wars, that's all, be happy with that title.

This looked interesting. The cards are from the Manga I believe but it looks promising.

I tried DME once, but the Pictures in the chat is big so you have to scroll alot (I mean ALOT), but if you disable Worldchat it works. Sadly, people can easily copy the names, so we'll have a hard time making YGO there.

I agree with Darkness on a game that doesn't require Skill or Leveling to be topnotch, just a liad back, RP game with Guilds, Friends, PM and Groups. Guess that doesn't exist though .-.

S4League is a fighting game that require skill. it may not be a rpg or a mmo but i like it.

I tryed S4league once, the lag does not halp me at all, and I don't like the buying system, same problem I had with other games of the same type, you buy it, and then you got the item for only 7 days or so, that just makes me go maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

There are other games like s2league that doesn't have that, but I will consider it, I played it b4 and liked it a little. Let's call it a "maybe".

for MMo's on the other hand, I suggest Eden eternal, very good anime style mmo, the class system rocks, the guild system is just amazing, letting you make a guild town with statues of the best guild members and such, easy-changing of class systems.

Only downside is the lvl system....

also mapple story looks intresting, I never played it but got lots of recommendations on that one.

DMO is also good, if you like digimon that is.

Dragon nest also looks intresting...

I want to search a little more on this one, coz I would simply love to find a game with very customizable characters and classes and shit....

DUnno, let's do a list of games and then me, kiryu, Shark, Pega, Yusei, Jack, Jesse and mai will have a meeting about this.

I would also suggest more than 1 game, if everyone does not like the same game.

just for you to know, tryed out s4league, and my pc wont connect to the US server. In fact I spent 1 hour, exactly, and Im not joking on this one, 1 freaking our on the connecting screen after "creating" my character.

I can't connecto to this one, sorry, maybe a more international game with a more powerfull server?

best bet the game that is picked is a game i don't play.


the list of game i play world of warcraft, world of tank, world of warplanes if i get picked to be in the closed beta, S4League, aion, rift, league of legend, star trek online, magic the gathering online, need for speed world, terraria, DC universe online, entropia universe.

DCO it's free, but every other aspect of the game is paid, and I don't actually like that, I want a full-free to play game for this team, I don't want to exclude anyone with pay-thingys.

This game is one I used to play long time ago. Like reeeeally long time ago. It's a lot like s4league but without all the time-items and with more weapons and stuff. It is just fun, the lvling up can be tiring sometimes but with help from friends its easy. Fine clan system, and the lvl is not that important at all, the more important thing is to skill this beast.

The fancy sword controls can be a little tricky. I forgot allmost all my tricks by now. And it's fun how some friends actually made a game just to teachme the basics of sword handling. This gives back memories allright.....

Well theres a game website called kongregate it has tons of online single and multiplayer games also it has a pm system which will keep darkness happy

many may find it annoying, but Im the sort of guy that likes to have a list on-hand to see everyone who's onliine at everytime and monitorate em. That's why Im the one in charge of byone-monitorating, and some times editing the list. It makes me feel sure that everyone is here.

A good clan system would work well too. Eden etertnal has a waaay to well done clan system. Including a clan town where you can add statues and shops and houses where guidies can live and store their stuff. Guild quests, everything. and the class system aint bad, it's acutally on the top 10 of mmorpgs.

The only downside, for me, is the lvl up, I can't lvl grind these days, and as a leader I would feel guilty to have a lower lvl that everyone else. But if everyones fine to have me as a weakling around and oftenly asking for help, then Im ok too.

either way, I wanna make a new char in eden eternal if we making the clan there, coz Im a ranger and I don't actually see "Darkness" as a ranger. (I actually picture kiryu as one) so I wanna make a necromancer or a bad ass dark mage with dark things and skulls and shit. to fit on my char propperly ^^.

aion have a pm system and it have housing where you can have your own house and it have air combat.

it's not the house system I wanted to point out, it's the clan system.

eden eternal has one of the best, if not the best, clan system I've seen in a while. I mean, a clan town where guildys can live and statues of the top players on the main square? Actual shops that people from outside the guild can enter and buy and that the money goes actually into the guild's bank account? Guild quests?

I don't know, I really liked this one. It is hell amazing. The other clan system I like is rusty hearts, but rusty hearts is a little bit to competitive. There's no "normal members", all of the members are ranked, and all ranks have dif. rights.

Idk, I love rusty hearts, but I don't like tha fact of it beeing this competitive on the guild.

For now I would add to the list officially of possible games:

-Eden eternal
Enourmously great clan system.
-S4league (if I manage it to work on my pc it would be nice tho)
The exact kind of gamplay I was looking for.(besides temporary items)
-Gunz
The same gameplay as s4league... but Im not sure tho

eden eternal is nice but i don't have the feel for it. i like air combat but eden eternal don't have that.

we can allways look for more games, Im just saying that eden eternal has the exact same clan system I wanted

S4league has the exact gameplay ( but it won't work on my pc, no matter what)

and Gunz..... is S4league substitute if I never get to make it work lol
