| so as Ive stated b4, I love mistery novels, anime, series, so heres some mistery sloving puzzles Ive got, lets see if you canslove em :3
So there is 5 ppl involved in a crime, and you gotta find out who of those are lying and who is saying the true.
Suspect A said: 1 of us is lying
Suspect B said: 2 of the people among us is lying.
Suspect C said: 3 of us in here are some pretty good liars!
Suspect D said: 4 people of our group are lying to you
Suspect E said: We are all lying to you!
Can you figure out whos lying?

| They are all lying, except suspect D. Since E tells you, that everyone is lying, that means he is lying too.
And if that is true, then it means, that A B and C is lying too.
Lying : A, B, C and E
True : D
This is what i came up with ^^

| theres just one problem with that, if E is lying then he wouldnt admit to lying would he? hed be saying hes telling the truth, the main problem with this riddle is how many there are, after all the more you have the more complex it is however since theyre refering to each other at the same time id say that they are all lying | |

| If they are all lying, then E will be right. Since he says, that everyone is lying to him. That will include himself. | |

| A little fail i made. But it still doesn't change the fact, that E says everyone is lying. And everyone, will still include himself. Well, no matter. I still think D is the one, that doesn't lie. | |

| Atticus is right at the first one, congratz, but things gets more difficult from now on :3
The challange is to tell me the trick to do this:
Imagine a hall, and at the end of it a door with a smal room behind it. On the entrance of that hall you have 3 switches, 1 of them will turn on the light of the room behind that door. You can only open the doors room once, how can you tell wich switch turn on the light in there?

| flip all 3 switches at once or if you cant then open the door, leave it open and stop it from closing then flip each switch in turn | |

| that would be one case, but its not the solutoion I wanted, the trick is, you can only open the dor onece, and then you gotta close it.
If you cant come up Im gonna tell ya the real solution to this problem

| Nope, that isnt a valid answer either.... No clues oin this one so Im giving the solution here: - Spoiler:
Ok, so heres the deal, you got a rom with a lamp inside, and you want to know how to turn it on. You can only open the door once, so you gotta do this:
You have 3 switched A, B and C
The steps to follow are these:
1-Turn on A and wait for 5 mins or so.
2-Turn off A and then turn on B
3-Open the door
After ths there are 3 posibilities of what could happen:
1-The lamp is on, so the switch was B after alll
2-The lamp is off, but its hot, its A after all...
3-The lamp is off, and its cold, so that means the right switch is C!
And thats the trick to it :3
So that done, lets go for something easier: You enter in a Dark room, no windows, light whatsoever. Soemone tells you that in front of you theres a basked with 2 pair of socks, 1 white and 1 black. You can only leave the room with 2 socks of the same collor. Once you leave theres no way of entering back, and if you leave the room with two socks of a dif. collor, soemone is waiting outside to kill you. Btw, no you canl take all of em.

Btw, no you canl take all of em. This is what I came up with: Take the basket and choke that b!tch outside. Or use the Socks, whatever makes you happy. EDIT: Yes, I do suck at puzzles.

| Im pretty confused, since i can only take 2 socks with me out. If i could take more then 1 but less then 4, i would take 3. Then if 1 would be white, i have a 50/50 percent chance of getting a white or black on the secound sock i look at.
But this is wrong, since i can't take more then 2 socks with me out xD

| i got an idea, wear white or black socks when you go in, put 2 of the socks from the basket on and walk out with the socks you wore in in your hands | |

| well, the way I'd solve this is by wearing each of the socks for about 15 minutes, but only one at a time, the socks that keep my feet warmer will be the black ones, and the white ones won't be as warm obviously, once I'm sure which ones are which, I'll just put them on and take my chances.
or similar to what Yusei said, just walk out wearing the socks you wore when you came in, if the room truly is dark, they won't be able to check and see if you took the right socks, and just throw two of the other ones somewhere else in the room, walk out, show the person, and get the hell out of there.

| That could be one way or you could also... - Spoiler:
Take 3 socks out of the basket. Taking 3 out of 4 means your taking 1 pair and 1 sock, meaning you got 2 socks in your hand with the same collor, then you just have to get out of the room and show the pair you got. The trick was I told you you cant get out with ALL the socks, and I never said you couldnt have 1 extra sock with you.
hehe, That done... Im kind of out of challanges, if you guys come up with one post it here so we can all guess :3

| A man is working for a high-security institution. Then one day he went in to work only to find that he could not log in to his computer terminal. His password wouldn't work. Then he remembered that the passwords are reset every month for security purposes. So he went to his boss and they had this conversation: Man - "Hey boss, my password is out of date." Boss - "Yes, that's right. The password is different, but if you listen carefully you should be able to figure out the new one. It has the same amount of letters as your old password, but only four of the letters are the same." Man: "Thanks boss." With that, he went and correctly logged into his station.
What is the new password? Bonus question: What was the old password?
PS: It took me some time to get this one down... ^^

| that's easy, I see puzzles like this all the time, the key is to look closely at the words in the problem.
the new password is: Different The old Password is: Out of Date

| Got one from a game, I'm a moron so it took me alot of time to figure out:
Billy and Peter bought some apples. If Billy would give Peter one apple, they would have the exact same amount. However, if Peter gave one to Billy, Billy would have double the amount Peter got. How many apples do both have each?
